Cookie Dough:
- 1 Cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1 ¼ Cups Sugar
- 4 Ounces Cream Cheese
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- ⅓ tsp Almond Extract (use 1 1/3 vanilla if you have a nut allergy or don’t want almond)
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- ¼ tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- 3 Cups Flour

- Non-Pareils or Rainbow Sprinkles (or both!)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Add cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Mix until combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Slowly mix into the wet ingredients until evenly moistened.
- Prepare cookie dough: Roll cookie dough into balls and coat with sprinkles. Place on the baking sheet, slightly flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes until just set. Do not overbake.
- Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
