- 1/2 cup full-fat milk
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp ghee (or neutral cooking oil)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened milk powder
- Sliced unsalted pistachios, for garnish
- Thinly sliced unsalted almonds, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook Carrots: Heat a large pan and cook grated carrots on medium-low heat until they are no longer raw, stirring occasionally.
- Add Flavor: Stir in cardamom powder, sugar, and milk. Cook until the milk evaporates.
- Infuse Ghee: Increase heat to medium, add ghee, and fry carrots until they release oil.
- Final Touch: Remove from heat, mix in milk powder, cover, and let steam for a few minutes.
