- Add Ice and Aperol: Fill each glass with ice to chill the drink. Pour 2 oz of Aperol into each glass over the ice and muddled ingredients.

- Prepare the Classic Aperol Spritz: Fill 4 glasses with ice to chill. Pour 2 oz Aperol into each glass over the ice.
- Add Prosecco and Soda: Top each glass with Prosecco, then add a splash of plain soda water to lighten and add a hint of fizz to the cocktail.
- Garnish and Serve: Place a slice of orange in each glass for a citrus aroma and beautiful presentation. Serve immediately for a classic Aperol Spritz experience.
Notes
- Use chilled Prosecco and soda water for the best flavor and refreshing results.
- Adjust the amount of Aperol or soda to taste, depending on your preference for bitterness and sweetness.
- Fresh basil adds a lovely herbal note to the strawberry variation, but you can omit it if preferred.
- For a lower-alcohol version, increase the soda water proportion in the classic recipe.
- The drinks are best served immediately to maintain the carbonation and freshness.
