Lime-Tequila Mixture:
- Juice of 15 limes (about 2 cups)
- 1 cup añejo tequila
- 1/4 cup dark agave syrup (plus extra for glass rims)
Garnish:
- 6 strips orange zest
- 12 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Additional:
- 3/4 teaspoon dark agave syrup (for glass rims)
- 34 ice cubes
Instructions
- Mix Lime-Tequila Mixture: In a large pitcher, combine lime juice, tequila, and 1/4 cup agave syrup.
- Prepare Garnish: Rub each old-fashioned glass rim with 1 orange zest strip. Dip glasses in a mixture of mint and salt. Add ice cubes to each glass.
- Shake and Serve: In a cocktail shaker, shake half of the lime-tequila mixture with ice cubes. Pour into glasses. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
