Instructions
- Sauté Mushrooms and Garlic: Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms and sauté until they soften and become fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. In the last 1-2 minutes, add the grated garlic and stir to combine, allowing the garlic aroma to develop without burning.
- Cook Wontons in Broth: Add the frozen mini chicken cilantro wontons to the skillet along with 1 to 2 cups of chicken broth, depending on your preferred soupiness, and 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce. Cover the skillet with a lid and let everything simmer gently for about 5 minutes, or until the wontons are thoroughly heated and tender.
- Add Final Flavors and Garnish: Remove the lid and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and 1 to 2 tablespoons of chili crisp, adjusting the spice level to your taste. Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for added freshness and crunch.

- For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken wontons with vegetable or tofu wontons and use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
