Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian Rolls
- 1 pound fully cooked chicken tenders
- 2 cups marinara sauce (I use Raos)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Garlic Butter Glaze
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375˚F to prepare for baking the sliders.
- Prepare Chicken: If your chicken tenders are frozen, cook them according to the package directions. If they are refrigerated, reheat them in the oven or air fryer until crispy. Once warm, chop the chicken tenders into bite-sized pieces.
- Make Garlic Butter Glaze: Whisk together the melted butter, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese until well combined to create a flavorful glaze.
- Prepare Rolls: Using a long bread knife, carefully split the Hawaiian rolls horizontally. Place the bottom halves cut side up and the top halves cut side down on a baking sheet.
- Assemble Sliders: Layer the chopped chicken tenders over the bottom halves of the rolls. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top, then spoon marinara sauce evenly over the cheese. Brush the garlic butter glaze generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake: Place the assembled sliders in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls turn golden brown.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and use a spatula to carefully place the top halves back onto the sliders. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use fresh or pre-cooked chicken tenders for convenience.
- If you prefer a spicier slider, add red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce or garlic butter glaze.
- Substitute mozzarella with provolone or fontina cheese for a different flavor profile.
- To make these sliders ahead, assemble them but bake just before serving to maintain freshness.
- Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
